    Each year the chapter recognizes outstanding members with the following awards. The recent recipients are also listed.

  • Bryant Axinn Abbuhl Outstanding Academic Achievement Award - this award goes to the brother who exemplifies the qualities of a True Gentleman while maintaining academic excellence. - Alex McLamb - 2012; Alex Hauer - 2013; Scott Sellers - 2014

    Connor Wilcox Farrell Outstanding Service Award - goes to the brother who displays great interest and dedication to philanthropic and charitable causes for the house - Scott Sellers -2012, Adam Stanaland and Eddie Palumbo - 2013; Ryan Emerick and Peter Bowman - 2014

    David Whitcomb Kerman Outstanding Athlete - this goes to the brother who displays excellence on and off the playing field - Jackson Taylor - 2012, John Skeadas (Golf) - 2013; Taylor Hanes - 2014

    William Richey Reigel Chapter Dedication Award - this goes to the brother who goes above and beyond in fulfilling the best interests of the fraternity (specifically behind the scenes) - Andrew Brown - 2012, Tucker Whitesides and Will Hamilton (pledge educators) - 2013

    Richard Brian Ruffner II True Gentleman Award - this award goes to the brother who maintains strong and healthy relationships not just among the brothers, but also among other peers, faculty, and staff - one who best embodies the characteristics of a True Gentleman as laid out by John Walter Wayland - Andrew Keesler - 2012, Eli Kahn - 2013; James Bramlett and Fritz Healy - 2014

    Dr. Mary Vasquez Chapter Award – Dr. Vasquez demonstrates an undying love for the NC Theta SAE Chapter as our chapter’s faculty adviser. Her ever-helpful guidance and patience help our chapter prosper. The recipient of the Dr. Mary Vasquez Award is a modest leader who listens and respects each member of the fraternity. The recipient consistently volunteers to perform simple tasks needed for efficient chapter performance. Furthermore, receiving the Dr. Mary Vasquez Award represents the brother’s dedication to Sigma Alpha Epsilon and his desire for good organizational and individual decisions, internal problem-solving, and exceptional image and standing in the community. - Kerem Eroglu - 2012, Wilson Turner - 2013; Keith Durante - 2014.
